After the last two fantastic rounds of Supermoto at Rowrah & Anglesey the series now moves on to probably the best all round Supermoto event in the calendar – Crail.
For anyone who hasn’t already been this is a must attend event, located a stones throw from the beach in an area of outstanding natural beauty near the world famous St Andrews it is a venue that is worth making the effort to get to and ideal for an extended break. The track itself is fantastic, with not one but two great off road sections and a tight technical tarmac section that runs equally well both directions it is widely accepted as the best Supermoto track in the UK.
The Scottish Supermoto club also make everyone feel welcome and will again be organising a track day on the Friday before the event and a BBQ on the Saturday evening. There is free camping available from Thursday onwards and the whole event is more like a holiday than a race meeting.
To help attract more riders to the event the Scottish Supermoto club have very generously subsidised the meeting meaning that everyone gets two days racing for the price of one, so the entry fee for Saturday & Sunday is £85 per rider (Mini Bikes/Academy is £50 and are on both days as well).
Also there is the now legendary North v South match race on Saturday evening to prove who are the real men (and women) of Supermoto racing.
We have also planned the event to finish early on Sunday to give you chance of getting home at a reasonable time.
